COMMENTS ON THE EBITDA AND RECURRING EBIDTA
The EBITDA and Recurring EBITDA are non-accounting measures that the Company develops with the purpose of assessing its operational economic performance, calculated based on the provisions of the CVM instruction no. 01/2006. It consists of the results before income tax and social contribution, plus net financial income and depreciation and amortization. The EBITDA and Recurring EBITDA are not recognized by the U.S. GAAP and Accounting Practices Adopted in Brazil and do not represent cash flow for the periods indicated. These ratings shall not be considered for the distribution of dividends, alternatives for net profit such as operating performance indicators or cash flow, or also as liquidity indicators. These ratings are not considered as performance indicators. Either the EBITDA and Recurring EBITDA do not have a standard meaning. Therefore, the Company’s definition of EBITDA and Recurring EBITDA may not be compared with the EBITDA presented by other companies.
